Floaters the only rig if chasing quality,
what area or state you from.

Have to agree with Webby,a floating pillie down a burly trail will produce big snapper.
A small running sinker strait to the hook to keep ya bait at different depths (depending on the current) in the water column is also productive for quality snapper.
I usually swivel gang 2 or 3 hooks (depending on bait)

I'll have to put my $4.56 worth in.
Floaters, cuttle fish in the bay or Whiting
Other than that, butterflied yakka or slimies offshore.
