Hi all,
:D
I was just wondering if you could inform me of charters that you have been on (from Moololabar to Moreton Bay)and are usually successful (offshore). It would be great if you could include the price and the service they provide. How you went...... :oIt would be just my dad and me who would be fishing, in September hopefuly. Your experiences and preferences would be greatly appreciated. :)Who do you recomend? :)

I went out off the Gold Coast with Sea Probe - I think. Or was it Wahoo? Anyway, they're the ones that leave from Nev Howard's tackle store on the Gold Coast Highway near the Brisbane turn-off.
Know their spots and do their best to put you onto the fish. Cost about $135, I think, but we more than caught that much worth of fish - mainly squire/snapper and trag jew

Hi Chrisso,

Usually go on a couple of Charters per year and have done so for the last 10 years or more. I'm hopefull the next Charter I go on is the best of the lot ;) Mark "Mono" Stewart runs an Offshore Charter out of Brunswick Heads that is highly recomended by any one that has tried it. Will test this one out later this month ;D ;D
I've tried a lot of the Charters from Mooloolaba down to the Border. I'd rate them from utter Crap (no fish and a waste of $150.00) to reasonable where the catch was at least a good feed. A couple of the better ones were "Tom Cat" (leaves from Raby Bay) and "Cherryl-Lee" (Tweed Heads).

Plenty of good charters from Rainbow Beach to Gladstone.

Happy Hooking ;D
