Yeah used to fish alot in Brunswick Heads and stay at the Masey Green Caravan park right on the river. Have you found the road to the northern head yet? There is some great creek fishing to be had last time I was there. Use to catch big elbow slapper whiting near oyster leases and where we pumped for yabbies. Have also caught jacks in the harbour using live prawns. Bloody bewdiful spot I reckon
Hey Vinnie, give me a call (6685 1913)when you are down this way and I'll endevour to point you in the right direction with a mud map.
Cheers

heaps of flathead on slow retrieve nearby the bridge late at night, and I can also vouch for elbow slapper whiting also from the north rockwall.

Hey Vinnie,
Just got back today and have been catching up on postings.
North Wall - Good bream on the inside here on pipi's. The North Easter's have been a pain in the butt and have not slowed down even late into the night. The low eide late into the evening is always time for Jewies although at the moment there are some small sharks around.
River - Flathead is the go with plenty just above legal size. Near the bridge is good and up the river near the oyster leases and just before the coffee rocks. Some nice size whiting will also be the go there also.
Boat traffic is at a maximum this time of year though.
If you try the North Wall beware the carpark as breakins are always on the cards late into the night.
Hope this helps.
