Looking to catch some gt's while im up at the gold coast from the 15th to the 18th. Will be staying near the gold coast bridge. Any advice on where to fish would be appreciated.

Thanks FINCHO

Last week, on the making tide there were HEAPS working the south seaway wall. Easy picking on small slugs and these gusty SE usually turn on the coastal rockwalls. ;)

HI Fincho,

Best bet at the moment for GT's is in the lake at the end of the coomera river. There is a good little land based spot on the southern bank just where the river opens into the lake. This isn't to far from where you are staying just get hold of a referdex and you should see where i am talking about pretty easy. Take mozzie repellent and a few spare lures as GT's aren't all you can come across here ;) and if you've got a cast net take that along as bait is thick down there atm.

Cheers
