BARRA GUIDE IN PALM COVE WANTED

I put a post up a while back ...just wanted to see if i could get any more responses .

Will be up on my honeymoon in palm cove between 16 and 23rd of March ( after a week fishing the whitsundays ;D ) and the missus is allowing me a day out chasing the Barra .

I want to get the most out of it...as i have not fished the northern waters all that much ...and want to do a solo guided mission ...flicking flys and throwing some minnows etc ...

Can ANYONE recommend me a TOP class operator to get me amongst it for a day ...i don't mind driving out of Palm cove up to an hour if the fishing or operators are better ...

any advice ? any phone numbers ?

billo,havnt heard any recommendations really, but try "FISHING THE TROPICS" ph 40581820 or "FISHING THE NORTH" ph 40452987. these are couple that i've seen around a bit. good luck.

he can put you on to the best guys - from palm cove i'd probably look for a charter luring at the top end of the Daintree River - just over an hour north of Palm Cove - most of the charters (well the cairns based ones) will drive you up from Cairns though - so you could put your feet up for the day.
