four beacons

hey guys, just wondering if anyone has cought any mackeral of late at the four beacons. if so wat sort of techniques have u been using and is there any livies there.
also is the any cobia around those beacons as well.

steve, tried there on 29 may jiging for 1 grinner. other boat had no luck either. might be inbetween seasons. schoolies should show up soon i hope.

There are still a few around...drop a 40gram laserpro or raider to the bottom and crank it to the boat as fast as you can. I even got some on bait jigs about two weeks back. There is still plenty of bait around..if they are not at one beacon they will be at the next. In regards to cobia I have not heard of any being caught in the bay but a mate and a few blokes landed 5 rats (12-15kg) on Saturday morning...not far from hutchies.
