Hey fella's whats the run over to moreton like from scarborough ,any sand banks?

Jimbo, I'm just short of 6 metres and on a high tide and good conditions you only have to watch the really shallow ones and you can take short cuts over the rest.
On low tide is a different matter and I tend to follow the Map GPS and stay in the channels.
Probably depends on the target of your journey at Moreton too.

They shift slowly over time but this should help.

Watch out for the wake of the big boats coming in to brisbane as you get near Moerton island, espacially on a calmer days they can be a sudden surprise :D

it would epend on where you are going if you a heading for the cape you will have a bumpy ride :-/ but if you are heading to tangalooma you will be fine. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
and yes look out for the container ships they tend to only go thru schools of macrel, bonito and tuna ;D ;D ;D so always be ont the look out.
