Crossing the bar at mooloolabah

Would like to see the sinking of the HMAS Brisbane on sunday but I haven't crossed the bar there yet. Could anyone offer advice etc on the crossing. Will be haveing a look from the point on saturday arvo but any advice from ppl who have crossed would be great.

Hey Guys,

I too am in the same boat as you.

I believe it is the easiest bar in QLD, having a Northerly aspect.

Im not too worried, as they wont be doing it unless they have perfect conditions anyway.

Dare I say it will be the busiest bar in Qld this coming sunday? What are the chances of getting a park at the ramp at about 8am??

With the weather forecast parking will be scarce even if the Brisbane wasnt going down. Best bet is to use the Northern ramp.
