Sunny Coast for Tailor?

Are there any headlands between noosa and maroochy that would be suitable for casting poppers and slices for tailor or mackeral? I am going to Nambour for weekend and want to go for a quick cast Sunday morning for some tailor. I dont want to muck around with bait cause i have to fly back out that afternoon. i have been told about a place called A Bay but i will have to ask a local where that is when i get down there.

Maroochy river mouth from Namboring I would probably try here, close to home and turns up some good fish occasionally. Check the tides. Some sheltered spots if the weather is bad.

Walk in from north shore car park around from the Twin Waters resort.
