Thanks mate, anyone know what type of wrasse ?
Oh and the grinner and yakka were caught around the headlands of Noosa from a boat on SP's also got some small squire, pike, big bream and queenies which were all fun on 3kg gear

wrass is the first one. Yellow tailed scad is the second one and grinner is the last one.

man that grinner must be on steroids. we never see them any bigger than 25cms up here.. Yeppoon.

caught grinners to 50cm off double heads and the Keppels. make great bait, eithier as live or dead bait for pelagics or bottom species.

Grinner grow big. I've used grinner as troll baits that weigh 4 and 4.5 kg, (spanish mac bait) Serious. Trawled up, and line caught specimens! They look evil at that size, and possibly they grow much bigger!
