Yes they do work and exceptionally well at that. Dart absolutely love them. Had one of the most amazing SP sessions in many years of fishing just last week with my young bloke. The secret is to find the bait. I followed a school of white pillies up the local beach on Wednesday arvo. (when I say followed the school up the beach we moved a hole 150m). In an hour and a half we landed 8 bream (biggest 780gm) 7 tailor (biggest est 2kg) and 8 dart. Released all but 4 bream and 2 choppers, Pretty much a fish a cast, great stuff on 2-3kg bream spin gear. They ate anything that looked like a white pillie.

I usually fish Fraser Island every year around Exhibition wed holiday, and if it is Tailor you are after, you won't be dissappointed except.... If you use anything but a long lasting plastic, you will do your $$$ really quickly on SP's. Use a 4 or 5" Snapback in anything resembling a pillie, such as Blue Glimmer, and you will keep costs down significantly.
