Anyone know a good spot to get yabbies in the bay?

When I use live bait, I'm a believer in using bait caught locally to where you are going to fish, because fish expect a certain diet in a certain location.

If there are no yabbies within a few k's from where you are fishing, most likely you'll find them hard going as bait.

OK I know someone will say they use chicken gut and there are no chickens in the sea......

Try around the Lota Creek mouth. You should get a few there.
