Where in Brisbane would I take a 14 year old Shimano Beastmaster 20/30 to have the drag serviced?
It has been a brilliant reel, has caught a lot of good fish, and I dont want to retire it.
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Cheers

If it needs a major service I would be inclined to bite the bullet and pay the postage to send it to Cairns to Jack Erskine. I have found him to be a gentleman of the highest order and most helpful servicing beasts of reel such as yours. Try contacting him via sportint@dodo.com.au this can take a bit of time as he is often away fishing, but he has always answered any of my emails/phonecalls and been very helpful.

Just for the record, Jones ' Tackle at Lutwyche in Brisbane are taking care of it. They have their own reel mechanic in the shop who seems to be pretty switched on, especially with shimano stuff.

I send my reels to "Dunphy Sports" THE Shimano importer in sydney, their service is great and who better to have the parts needed. Most times they even pay freight or offer to send a postpak.
Any shimano enquiries I ring them, rods or reels..........................
