i am wondering has any one went on that charter and tell me more about it as i was thinking of going on for some fun popper fishing and jigging as well so have one of you been on it ??? so i can talk tot them about the trip... thank,s

Call the guy, I've only read good things about Damon's charters and the deckie course he runs. I think at least one guy on this forum has been out with him that I can recall reading so hope he posts.

i am pretty sure george (team mongo) has been out with damon.

have you checked the website now the coral sea trips are up and running with the mother ship? From all reports its an AWESOME operation.

2 game boats, mother ship and 4 kelva cat flycasters as the dorys.

check out his site and read the article by tim simpson in the latest bluewater magazine.

if you have the $$ to spend then do it, would be the trip of a life time!!

yea coral sea trip is in march ... as they are still looking for 8-10 more ppl to join to go ... for $2650.00 for 9-10 day,s as far i know... :D

i am still thinking of going there .... so i would like some one to share with me if they had been on one ... :D

Have fished with Damon several times. He is a thorough professional, and will do almost anything to get onto the fish.

Before you go, make sure all your gear is up to scratch, else IT WILL FAIL..

2650 $ for 9-10 days is not so expensive...
If I were sure to have the money at that time, I would definitely book a trip. If you have a tip to earn big money quickly, I'm your man ! ;D 8-)When do you plan to go and what is the trip? Kenn Reef?

well this trip will be in march ... on a to the nearest full moon .... ;).... and i am still thinkin on going or not ::)....

I've also fished with Damon a few times. I can't praise his operation highly enough! He knows his stuff and catches alot of fish for his clients. I saved up in my last year of school to go on a charter wit him instead of schoolies, and it was well worth it! If I could, I would be out at Kenn Reef and the next available opportunity.
