does anyone fish the canals at Redcliffe on a regular basis & what species do you target ? Mick
I dont usually fish there, but while working on houses i usually drop a crab pot or two in. Ive watched a few kids in a boat using plastics do really well on the bream near the pontoons and also score a jack near the rocks...foxy

mate i used to fish that place hard. heaps of cod there - use prawnstars hard against the rock walls. pulled the odd purple boy there too - one stonker at over 60cms. they are there, but might still be a bit early. also a few flatties and of course breambos hanging about. fish the structure mate. let us know how you go.
