BULA!! Nob,
Have a fijian background Nob and would have to say, take a trip to Savu Savu. There a couple of resorts there, but my pick would be The Na Koro Resort originally owned by the diver Jaque Coustea( apoligise misspelling). This resort is well known for the best fishing charter operation in Fiji. Or you have the great option of walking down the beach to the end of the resort where ther is a deep drop of to the reef with any amount of fishing.

VANAKA!!!

Great place for the family, got your normal resort features eg. kids club, swimming pool as well as daily activities like snorkelling on the reef, beach volleyball, water sports and equipment etc...

March is fine, you dont want to go between approx the 6th and 9th months due to the wet season.

Check out the resort on the net, mate.

Ive stayed at The Fijian at Nandi and its pretty good. I did a dive off the reef and I can tell you theres plenty of fish. They took me out for a trolling session in their charter boat, but the weather was crook that day. Its probably not as good as the savu savu resort for fishing, but a good all rounder for the family. 9 hole golf course was good too. Great restuarants and entertainment.

Bula :)

Stayed at the Warwick Resort on the Coral Coast and took a charter arranged through the resort. Great fun.
