Can't wait till this weekend (21-22/10/06) our club are having
memorial shield fishing competition at Wavebreak Island,
there's should be plenty of good sizes summer whitings there ;)

A couple of weeks ago I found a few hanging about the coffee pots on Brisbane Road, nothing of any real note though!!

I heard there was a few at the sandhills josh but i have'nt caught any !!

Yeah shane, i too got a phone call telling me about a heap of whiting up at maroochy.

My bro in-law went out to the nerang and got 14 in 2 hours, however i just like the diversity of the bay (so many different fish species to target in a full day of fishing).

I guess we will just have to wait a little longer for them to school up in numbers.

I caught 15 in a couple of hours last full moon at the front of the passage. Couple of slappers in there

caught 25 good sized fish near the mouth of the noosa river just recently

I shot down the Rous from Amity last saturday. There were quite a few boats fishing the various banks down the Rous Channel. I assume they were chasing whiting.
