Cheap Worms and Bait in General

I live in the Wynnum area and wish to know where I can buy cheap worms and bait in general.

I believe you get what you pay for hence, cheap means cheap.

A good place for quality bait at reasonable prices is Water Tower Bait & Tackle - owned by Shane Boese (the Qld Fishing Party) candidate at the recent elections. His wife (Toni) is also extremely helpful.

It is situated at the BP up on Manly Rd/Gordon Pde.

Chep bait is an urban myth like cheap petrol...as T says..........what you pay is what you get.....quality costs....

Cheapest bait is the stuff you get yourself, then again take in to account your time, fuel, etc etc.

Gathering your own bait is half the fun , Unless your lazy & damm i'm lazy

Agree! If you've got the time you can catch most baits yourself. It's fun and you learn a variety of fishing-related skills, not to mention the dollars you save. The only bait I can't catch is pilchards but garfish and pike are good (and in some ways better) substitutes.
