Humminbird Matrix 10x

Well hi to all
This would be my first posting and im not really happy I have just used my pc connect cable for the first time and uploaded the new software to my matrix 10x all went well until i hooked it back up in the boat and it wont work it comes on for about a second or two and as soon as it gets the sonar screen it shuts down if I press the menu button to go to the different screens like simulation,system status,pc connect they all work fine but as soon as i select normal mode what i explained previously happens and it just shuts down and i cant even turn it off i have to disconnect it from the whole mounting if anyone knows what is going on or has any info relevant it would be much appreciated asi have no warranty left on the unit it is almost two years old and i have never had a problem with it until now

try re uploading the software. ring humminbird and ask them how you clear the unit's cmos. then re upload. But just try re uploading the old software which should be available still somewhere on the humminbird site i imagine.

Hey thnx for that link Mr Plastik I used there trouble shooting guide and reset the unit to its default settings and what do you know its working again so thnx for the link as i probably would have annoyed the shit out of the people at BLA and i think its back too smooth sailing once again ;D
