Hello Ausfishers,
My names Lee, a brandnewby from Townsville, and was wondering if anyone has a 600l on there boat, if they could send me a pic of the transducer and bracket, as I removed mine about a year ago and forgot to take a photo. and as I've done a major re-fit on my older 625 Cruise Craft, including transom, I want to get it right the first time. Not even sure that it is the factory transducer, and the 2 stainless steel brackets I don't want to put back on. I would like to use a slide if possable. :)
Cheers

;)
On plate boat , better avoid using bronze transducer and plastic transducer is well suited for it . Bronze transducer fitted permanently on the plate boat will cause galvanic corrosion onto the plate and for best results , tranducer must be in contact with water otherwise the performance will be affected greatly . :-[

i have it on a bracket outside the boat, but if i bought a glass boat i would install it inside the hull....... 8-)

Lee, I am from Townsville as well, but am out of town for the next week for work. I have attached a pic of my FCV 600L transducer. This is the only one that I have of this part of the boat and I had to play with the brightness a bit to get any detail. If you would like you could come and have a look when I get back.
Cheers,
Leo
