which sounder

hi there, i am considering purchasing a new sounder for some close reef work that i do, i dont fish in waters any deeper deeper than 50m most of the time i dont have a money tree and could at this stage really only spend around $500 i have a gps so i dont need one of them.any suggestions would be great,
