Old Sounder... Whats it worth?

Hi Guys,

Just upgraded to a Furuno FCV620 :)

I have a friend who wants to buy my old unit, it's a Garmin FF240 Blue with in hull transducer and seperate speed and temp sensors. The unit is in first class condition.

what do you think is a fair price for a friend?

mate for a good friend i'd say around $50-$100. (then again i don't what it would be worth new) :-/

if an inlaw i'd say double that ;) :-X

on the other hand , it could depend on how much you paid for it.

I paid $835 + $100 for the temp and speed sensor 3 1/2 years ago

$935 - 3.5 years ago , fair price now --- about $400 - $450 :-?

I think the price that is fair is to compare the resolution to the resolution of what can be purchased in a modern sounder. From memory they are 240 X 240 ?, that being the case around the $250.
