Hi
Looking at buying a Eagle seacharter 640c DF from the USA.
around $570 US + postage
Well not looking, definately going to next week.
Just wanted to suss out which stores people bought from and what service etc was like.
Ebay is not an option due to Eagle not honouring any warranty on any item sold in online auction format.
Also going to use USPS and not UPS.
Thanks, look forward to your replies. ;D :D

Skeet just bought sounder from Cascade Marine could not fault service 5 days to my door just remember purchases over $1000:00 including freight will attract sales tax and import duty. I bought from cascade on advise from another Ausfisher and was glad I did. Andrew.

Hi,
I just purchased a Lowrance LMS-337 from http://www.gpsspecials.com - communication was fast and friendly, and they have a "live chat" thingy that you can use (sometimes... not always available).
Price and advice was great.
Oh, and as with most items that come from the states, make sure you get them to send it via USPS or someone similar so you can track its status. Nothing more reassuing thatn being able to see your parcel enroute.

Don't think Eagle/Lowrance honour any warranty in Australia on US bought units, they have to be shipped to US.

His names David, an Australian living there and servicing the OZ market.
He's a pleasure to deal with, very efficient, my chartplotter arrived 4 working days after order. A lot of my friends have delt with him all with the same result.

I get all my stuff from Scuba Steve's Marine/Westchase Products. One thing he will do is ship as a gift on customs documents and also show a value you want. You can avoid some VAT is a lot of cases. Great prices and service to boot. http://www.############### or http://www.westchaseproducts.com
