I remember seeing a book some time ago that detailed how to read a colour sounder, now I can't remember the title. Can anybody point me in the right direction on what is the best book to buy to learn how to read a colour sounder and if it is part of the AFN?

On the AFN website, I can see a book called "Depth Sounder Secrets" by Rick Huckstepp, is this by chance the book I am looking for?

Scott. I saw Rick about a fortnight ago at a free educational night about sounders and GPS's. He did advertise his book and going by his knowledge, it would be well worth buying.

G'day
Have you had a read of the topic sounder reading? It's a sticky up the top of this electronics board. Well worth a look

Dave, yes I have had a read through the sounder topic at the top of the forum. It has some good information, but I would still like to have a book I can refer to. Thanks for the tip though.
