sorry about the late reply..i totally forgot i had posted this message & i just havent been online.....i will post a pic of the card tonite so you guys can check it out to see if it will fit into your gps.....
i currently have in it a lowrance handheld gps (ifinder h2o c)

Mate have tried sending a PM but apparently have not posted enough...
I'm interested in the nav card, have been looking at them for my iFinder but am a bit put off by the price. Please PM me if something can be arranged.

On another note, can anyone out there tell me if the charts on navionic SD cards can be easily backed up? If I do go to the expense of buying one I would like to back it up to my hard disk, CD, or another SD card. Is this possible? I imagine that it's simply a file written on to the card?

MATE I DECIDED TO KEEP THE CARD...I SAVED THE FILES TO THE HARD DRIVE ON THE PC AS A BACK UP & I TRIED TO COPY TO ANOTHER SD CARD BUT IT DIDNT WORK FOR SOME REASON......THE GPS READS THE CARD & THE FILES ARE THERE BUT IT JUST WONT LOAD THE MAPS UP....MUST BE A FEATURE TO STOP PEOPLE MAKING COPIES & SELLING THEM BUT YOU CAN TRY IF YOU WANT....I CAN EMAIL THE FILES TO YOU IF YOU WANT TO TRY & MAKE YOUR OWN CARD....ITS FROM THE GULF TO MELBOURNE

Does anyone know what software version the latest Navionics XL3 Gold cards are?? (for Aust N & E, I think it is 62G).
