Hi all,

Taking the dart up to Noosaville for a few days R&R. Going with friends so mainly socialising but figured I'd put my crab pots in and maybe toss a few lures around.

Appreciate any advice on whether or not there are any crabs around.

Hi Phill.....Was chatting to a guy yesterday who spent last weekend at Noosa...He said the fishing on the beach was shocking because of all the slimmy weed thats in the water.
2 casts and the reel was covered in the stuff...he gave up and had a few more beers.
Not sure how the river is fishing though...might be ok...good luck mate...hope ya catch a decent size fish.

Thanks for that. Considered taking my surf fishing gear but will not bother in that case. That slimy weed is horrible.

If you fish Wello on the weekend, leave me a few cause I intend to fish there when I get back.
