First Mackeral Expedition

I am going Mackeral hunting for the first time this weekend - departing from Fisherman Is. Not taking the Dart because I am going with a mate in his (larger) Haines. We haven't decided on which day yet, just waiting to see how the forecast looks.

Anyway, I have just been reviewing the boards and there do not appear to be any recent reports on Mackeral in the bay. If anyone has some recent info I would appreciate it.

ps Haven't been fishing for weeks and starting to get twitchy, losing concentration at work, disinterested in food, even considered tossing a lure into the pool

I havn't heard of much from the bay, there has been action offshore, well worth the trip, pm me if you want to follow me out.
