Michael,
Wouldn't say I've got the run down, but think its been a while since anything decent has been caught out of the river there near the town. Heard someone say they still get a couple of decent lizards heading a fair way up the creek.
I've got a feed of whiting before at this time of year in the corner on the beach side of the wall. If you get an eddie formed with a bit of a rip against the wall, it goes out about 20m and moves away from the wall and onto a sand bank; there sits the whiting. Wasn't much size in them though.
I should be at North Minnie Waters camp ground for a few nights starting wednesday night. You taking your boat, or got ausfish stickers or something? Might have a wander over Wooli way and see if I can spot ya.
If you are over minnie waters way, or going for a drive up the beach to sandon river, have a look out for my cruiser. pic attached. plate: JJF-068
Cheers
Jeff
PS Who are the guys from bruns? Haven't be back much for the last decade or so, but I'm from byron originally and schooled at mullum.

Michael,
OK will look out for you. Guess you are staying at Wooli caravan park in town there?
Might bring a couple of tins of blue paint to give your tub a fresh coat. ;D
Geoff West sounds a bit familiar. My bloody grey matter has trouble nowadays. Is / was he a surveyor?
Anyway, I probably won't be on here again for a while. Fly out from Manila 8pm tonight, arrive bris 5am tue, then get the gear together and head down wed.
Catch ya down there hopefully.
Cheers
Jeff
