The next time I will look at having a fish will be Friday, the 17th. All this rain would surely have given the system a bit of a kick along. I'll wait and see when it stops raining. If it does by, say, Monday, I might head up to the top end of the Bay and see if anything is happening up in the clean water. All depends on the weather, though.
Has there been any Wahoo about yet? I'd love to here what's happening on that front as work and baby commitments have curtailed recent fishing endeavours.

Cheers,
BIGNICK.

G'Day Rob,
Unfortunately, in recent years, I have gone majorly soft. In times gone by, I would have jumped at the chance to head out, as long as I was a better than even money chance of coming home in 1 piece. Now, it's a different story altogether. I don't seem to have the drive to fish on the less than pleasant days, preferring instead to find solace in the relaxation factor. I have no idea what's happened to me. I have no doubt that the hunger will return once I get my life back when our new baby boy settles down a bit. Oh well, time for a nice warm glass of HARDEN-UP and a lie down to dream of things to come.

Cheers,
NICK.

With a 2-metre (+) swell predicted for offshore waters, a Spotty Assult is definitely the program for this Friday. From all reports, they're pretty thick in the usual spots up the top end of the Bay. I've just serviced my TSS-4's and put new line on them and I've also put new hooks on all my slugs. It's time to head out and see what sort of carnage I can cause. See you all out there. Beware of the Allison with the black canopy and a couple of confused souls on board.

Cheers,
NICK.

We are GO for tomorrow. Got the workmate from Ipswich tagging along. He's never chased Spotties before, so it should be a lot of fun if his Cobia capers a few months ago are anything to go by. Had a TSS-4 lock up tonight while spooling up; no idea why. Oh well, I've got another one and the offender will be off to Budd's on Monday. Anyway, see you all out there.

Cheers,
NICK.
