I was just wondering who's entering the Humminbird Moreton Bay and Offshore Family Fishing Challenge, the annual premier event of the Redland Bay Amateur Fishing Club, to be held over the Queen's Birthday Long Weekend (June 10-13) out of the park next to the Redland Bay Hotel in Broadwater Terrace. There's great prizes on offer for juniors and seniors alike, including good cash prizes for various fish catagories, raffles all day every day, and daily random prize draws. A huge list of sponsors new and old means there's heaps of fishing and boating gear up for grabs, including a couple of pretty fair boats to be won. There's always a couple of retail/display-type stands on site as well as entertainment for all the family. It really is a top weekend and the whole thing is really well run. To be sure, make sure you bring a fold-up type chair as seating can sometimes be a bit scarce, particularly when all the wives and kids and the like come along. I'm in again. See you all there...
