Billfish off Townsville

I heard on the grape vine that the billies are really on fire out off Townsville. The cape, bowling-green and the northern grounds are producing numbers of small blacks. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
So if this wheather holds out I might be looking for a deckie. ;)

Wild Side, we did some high speed trolling out from Bowen last week end but didn't get a hit. Have people been landing any?

Yeh mick, from the stories that I keep hearing there has been alot of fish boated. I haven't been out to bowling green as yet but I have been told that there is really big bait schools out there at the momment.
A bloke from up this way went out on monday in a 14ft tinnie at 10am and returned at 2pm, and he caught 4 small blacks and a couple of toona.
As I said before I've got to get out there...... ;D
