Was there last week - blew like buggery but still managed a couple of whiting near the shore. should be better when the wind dies down. But having fished the Bay for on and off for 40 years I think the place is just about fished out. Getting a feed off the foreshores is the exception rather than the rule - courtesy of the netting pros and idiots taking everything above 15cm in length.

The weather`s looking pretty dam good for the weekend Slyham,im getting sick of that north wind hitting me in the face every day for the last 8 week`s or so.Looks like south east with a north east sea breeze at this stage. You should do allright if your out there nice n early.I hope to drop my boat in the water this weekend,it`s been a looooooong time.

one web site said,s ..........
Hervey Bay Weather Forecast
Hervey Bay Waters:
Friday until midnight: N'ly winds 15/20 knots with seas to 1.4 metres and a late
shower/storm. Saturday: NE/NW winds 15 knots with seas to 1.2 metres. Sunday: SE winds 15/20 knots. ..............

the another one said,s ...........
Friday: E/NE winds 10/15 knots. Seas 1 metre.
Saturday: SE/NE winds 10/15 knots.
Sunday: SE/NE winds 10/15 knots................

and now you say,s that friday will be 5knot .......... now how can you tell the next two day,s ????? cos i am looking in to the weekend fishing .....

so there is different option which worry,s me which is the right one cos i not want to waste my time for nothing if i head up and it,s windly and have to head home for nothing..... why spend $$$ on fuel..... so i think i,ll ring one of the loacl fishing shop for some help would be great...
