Going to DI

Im going to DI Point, Saturday .Ive never Fished there , couple of mate want to fish off the rocks.
Q 1.What is the area like for LBG can you get a livey out under a float there.
2. whats the best bet for getting live bait there.

Be careful in your car mate.... It's not really a 4WD ;D he he he (Nah she'll be right!)

1) There's a rock point you can get to Land Based. Be a little careful of the tides though, as the water comes in a bit... You can walk around the top of the headland and climb down though, which means you'll leave the car away from the nasty salty stuff... The right hand side of the point is pretty deep (I think it's called Shark Straight), and the left side is a gradually sloping area. I've caught loads of dart off there, but we only fished there for about an hour... Would definately be worth getting a livie out to the right!

2) If you take one of your cast nets (You've got a few to chose from!) you can cast net some livies along the beach right near the rocks. Maybe take a few pieces of bread to act as burley (Crush one up into the water before cast netting, then when it runs out, use the next, etc)

Either way - You will have a ball. Take lots of photos, and let us all know how you go!

I had the Idea that a net might be worth taking but then thought "net!---rocks,,,,naahh.
