looking forward to first trip in weeks. looked at seabreeze and sat looks good. looked at brownies and prob wouldnt go out. what does one do?
i would hate to own a bait shop sometimes. they must get shits when they see 2 reports so different and most times one looks at the worst report and goes on that for safety reasons. they miss out and then turns into beautiful day, like last sat. how many got caught. i was one.
oh well iam going out sat. prob mouth of logan. chase some whiting. anybody got any reports
cheers

Greg - this subject has come up in a number of other threads recently - search ”weather” & you’ll get blown away by results (no pun intended) - Brownies is a good site but just regurgitates BOM info - the combination of BOM, Seabreeze & Bouyweather is probably the best available working on the 2 out of 3 ain’t bad theory
Suggest watch those 3 forecasts closely, reassess situation once on the water (particularly if going outside) & have an alternate strategy (eg Comby Ledge instead of Hutchies).
At time of this post it’s looking really good for Saturday & Sunday – bugga, have been unable to get out for weeks cos’ of the bad weather & this weekend I have to go help Dad butcher a bullock – maybe someone would like to trade some prime grass feed beef for some prime fillets next week??

BOM will change their tune 4am Saturday morning when they realise that they've got it wrong, again ::) ;)

Greg, the last few times I've been out Sea breeze has been spot on...personally, I'd give it a go...but unfortunately have to work all weekend...bummer
I reckon BOM play it pretty conservatively...they copped heaps of stick over the Sydney hobart debarkle a few years back and have made some calls since that coincided with tragedy that cause them to err on the side of caution me thinks - perhaps not a bad thing...I'm like uripper...compare the three...BOM, seabreeze and bouyweather...then make the call
Hope you get a boat full
Cheers
Rhys
