Burrum heads 9/2/06

Hi all.. heading back to burrum heads on the 9/2/06 for a week of relaxing and fishing any ausfishos in the area that week. most important does anyone know if the prawns are on the move yet.

few only in burnett & small but you might be lucky while draging for bait we had balls of tiny prawns stick to the net couple wks back should be fair size wk or two the rivers etc this area run same cycle cheers

thanks wayneoro. I went up pass burnett and pacific haven river fishing a week before christmas and only manage toads and stingrays there were no prawns at that time hopefully on this trip I will see some action.

GDAY Im back and what a great time it was after clearing the block and keeping the lawns mowed it was fishing time.
what can I say that the fishing was great on this trip manage to catch my first jack and there were plenty of prawns up in the howard area. as I was limited to a boat as my mate had to work the fishing in town just off ross st boat ramp was just as exciting with plenty of bream and a couple quality size flathead caught on hearing. OH yeh forgot to mention muddies plenty of mud crabs up the river yummmm. And the weather was hot just like the fishing.
