Just wondering if anyone knows of any good fishing spots in caboolture/beachmere/bribie. Ive been trying all the well known places with crap results (bribie jetty, beachmere boatramp), there must be a few secret locations that someone wouldnt mind giving up ;)
cheers ryan.

Hey Ryan...freddo and I fished upstream from the boat builders on the caboolture river on Monday and even though it was windy and wrong tide and middle of the day, we still managed to get 3 large bream and 3 big summer whiting.
we were in our boat but u can easily fish there off the bank, and if you did it at night, there would be plenty of bream and whiting, and who knows wat else.
Hope you know where I mean, it was only 50 metres up stream from all the moored big boats.
hope this helps mate, and oh we got them on blood worms and fisho,
would have been a couple more thanks to freddo not putting the landing net in

yes u get there on beachmere road there are plenty of spots along there to get a fish.also u can get to the mouth of the river by driving down to the waterfront at beachmere then just walk along the beach to the mouth .low tide would be best then fish as the tide comes in over the banks .
