Looking to be a bit on the windy/sloppy side me thinks.
Still I'll have a go on the Pinkenba Wall or reclamation pond walls for some bream, squire or what ever else wants to swallow me bait. ;D 8-)

how does the 60 go on the 15ft
yeah pretty good, it's a glass boat. Just put a new SS prop on it, so go's a lot better now, gets up to 29 knts, so keeps me happy
So does anyone want a ride?

what sort of fish do you catch around Brisbane River Mouth and out at Mud Island? I have a 12 foot Tinnie with an 18 hp (the sides are quite low) would I get out to mud okay. What are the swells normally like in the Bay....

Plenty of bream, squire, occasional snappery squire, tailor, moses perch and flathead.
The sunken wall at Pinkenba, Reclamation Pond walls at front of fisherman islands, a touch further out occasionallly Mt Eliza, round the coffee pots.
And on good days out to the banks around the Compass adjustment buoy for a feed of whiting.
Mud island I havent been to much, so leave someone else to comment on that area.
Cheers
Mike
Hey Emick,
you get all the usual suspects round the mouth, bream, squire, moses pearch, taylor, jew, ect. Same sort of stuff out to Mud. You could probably get out to Mud ok in your boat, but you need to pick your days. Swell is not much to speak of, up to a metre or so. It's more the wind chop you need to worry about. Anything over 15 knots isn't fun, I normally stay away with more than that. And if theres any West in the wind you can expect to get wet.
Theres plenty of spots round the river mouth, focus your attention on the rock walls. The reclaimed land rock walls out from the warfes is always productive for me. I fish right up against the rocks and do alright, always see boats sitting 10-20 meters off the walls catching bugger all, but who knows........
