moreton Island western rocks

Hi all, relatively new to offshore fishing and would like to goto western rocks to chase Cobia, can anyone give me techniques for the area, how far it is from Scarborough boat ramp and gps points maybe? pls PM me you dont want to advertise the area.

hey Dan. don't know exact distance but it's about 28k from scarb. Go past comboyuro point through kianga channel and head roughly north along the venus banks for about 3k. On a good day look for all the boats and that will be western rocks. Hope that helps. Happy fishing.
