There seems to be a bit of interest in Tuna on fly at present. I thought that I would add a bit of variety.
I caught this yellowfin off mooloolabah last year. It came out of a good school of similar sized fish. These things have a good turn of speed and change of direction.
We got 5 before moving on to other stuff. Ausfish member Toddy took the pic. It was a good day.

A bit further down the coast we got onto some stripies...
Toddy got this one- these things have beautiful colours and fight well.

We also got onto a heap of mac tunas and some frigates. We were both on 4 species for the day, we finally found some longtails and got a cast in. Unfortunately, toddy busted off... would have been great to get one but it wasn't to be.
Anyway, it is remembered by both of us as a great day on the water with plenty of nice fish caught and released.
