big yakkas

Hi,

Fishing has been slow in Sydney last week. Except for about 10 huge Yakkas I caught in Botany Bay...I looked at the record for Yellowtail in my fishing book and it is 33 cm...I reckon a few of these would have gone close....Too big for livies but they slab up well.

I was very suprised how big they grow. Caught some HUGE ones while in NZ early in year. Was jigging slugs for snapper and these fish were jumping all over the chrome slice. [smiley=2thumbsup.gif]
