Just thought I would put My first Marlin capture in the "post a photo of your catch" competition.
Approx. 150 pounds caught at end of Feb 2003 about 7 or 8 klms east of St. Helens on Tas.

Hi Fishtale
A tassie marlin has gotta be worth 100 plus another 100 for letting it go. Mind you, I am not bias. what size was the boat, only looks small

Will be joing club this coming season Crazy. Been thinking about it for a while now and have purchased a little place at St. Helens so getting down there quite a bit now. SOo the club thing is a bit more appealing. Get many Bluefin this year? Have heard it wasn't a real good season down there?
Cheers, Fishtale

thats right the bluefin this season were a lot harder to catch than the past two seasons I didnt catch any bluefin this season but I caught a few nice albacore around 10-15kgs and we lost one about 20kgs {all caught on 10kg line and under} The bluefin were at there best down at pedra blanca but I couldnt get down that way to have a go for them
