Spent a week doin the tourist thing in Melbourne and took a day out from shopping trips with the Mrs to see the Great Ocean Rd and the 12 Apostles. Had seen this ramp in some fishing mags before and finally got to see it first hand.

It is a great country we live in ;)

Cheers

That's an e-ticket ride at Disneyland not a boat ramp.
Hmmmm, I'll bet walking down to the bottom of the ramp wasn't the Mrs. idea.
Very nice pics. Where I'm from every thing is so flat. I don't get to see landscapes like that here. Thanks for sharing.

Some action shots of boats being launched and retreived would be good :o

Could be a little difficult on a solo trip :-[ not much room to pull ya boat up on the bank so you can go get the car.

I don't think crowds would be a problem ;D

Depends wat car u got but goin up bitchumen like that with a boat in 4x4 low thats not good at all!!
Ballinas got a alright ramp but on low tide it has a step where the concrete finishes ans its a 8"drop (inch)but with a resonable boat low range 4x4 for our triton.
But all landcruses would probly only need high range.
