Heres another little sucker caught in the bay that I've never quite identified. I'd guess its something reasonably common but I have no idea of family etc so I have no idea where to start!
Any ideas???

Its a type of scad. We call them yellow tails here in WA. We jig them off the pylons and use them live to switch small marlin and sails.

Yellow tailed Scad, normally fairly thick at this time of year. Usually found up near Inskip or the Bluff.
Top bait for nearly anything.
Cheers
