Well I finally did it, got my first trev on a SP, he was only a small one buy hey i dont care, still a fish. Was plenty of bait fish scattering everywhere and i could see the flashes under water, some bloody big flashes sometimes to. was using a small popper at first when they started but didnt get a show so i put a 2" power bait in watermelon colour with a small jig head and 2nd cats i was on. good little fights on light gear trevs are. plenty of other hits but no hook ups. all in all was still good fun and will be trying the same bridge again. im stoked.. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D. here is a pic of the little tacker.
thanks jeremy for the spot to.
cheers

Well done Geoff.

Wouldn't mind getting a few next time I'm down the coast.

They go well for their size and hit just about anything.

Nice going Geoff. I agree with the others that it is probably a big eye also.

Good stuff mate. What sort of retrieve were you using. Ive found when they are feeding on the surface, a quick jerky retrieve of a 3" powerbait, which keeps it jsut below/on the surface works a treat. congrats on the first one!

That plastic looks to long to be a 2 inch plastic. Looks very 3inch like.
