Photoshop 5.5 help

Just installed photoshop 5.5 to play around with but now when ever I open a digital photo it opens in adobe ImageReady and not in Windows picture viewer.

I have tried to find the settings but can't.

has anyone got any ideas of how i can stop ImageReady being the default viewer?

go to the windows picture viewer and set it as default ?

Go to
-start
-control panel
-folder options
-file types
scroll down to jpeg and jpg and you will find that it says opens with PS5 just change this to windows picture viewer. ;)

As far as image ready goes I've yet to find a program that resizes images more efficiantly than it does. It's perfect to resize images to a small size yet retain quality. Have fun.

Yep thanks BB, thats what I had to do.

Now when I view my pictures it is back in the hands of our creator... yep Bill Gates :-)
