In box limits

I keep getting a pop up window telling me I have more than 20 messages in my inbox, and do I want to go to it now.
When I look, I have only 8 or 9 messages in there.
Is there something that I should be doing to stop this, or is it a gliche in the system?

Below is a copy of the message that would be popping up.

Go to your Message Centre and then go to your Outbox and you will see that there is 20 messages in there.

It refers to your IM Box (Instant Message Box), not your In Box.

Thanx Steve, I think I have worked it out. Haven't looked at the Outbox side of things previously. Will try and keep this one clear. I take it there is only an Inbox and an Outbox that needs tidying up?
