Advertising thingos

Steve,
In some forems the advertising" thingos""Techinical name for those adds that appear and travel across the top of the screen"",Cover the drop down boxes i use to navigate around the site.
Can they be made to not cover the boxes that drop down???

Yeh I have noticed it from time to time too. Might just be one or 2 banners doing it but I haven't been taking notice .

Sorry ba229, I deleted your doubel post and it deleted the attachment, have attached it here.

The reason it happens on some banners is that they are done in Flash and will be in front of anything else on the page. The standard banners will not effect the drop downs.

You can just scroll down the page a fraction and it will get rid of the banner.

I will shift the banner to the right, most people are probably usuing the Chat Board dropdown so it will at least clear that. If you have your resolution set at 1024 x 768 teh chat board drop down will not be effected as it clears the banner.

Thanx steve new i could count on you to fix it even if it was a little problem.
Being totally puta illiterate ,I dont understand the tech stuff.But i can use the dropdowns now
