Computer slow?? Interesting experiment

my comp has always been a bit slow, i hate IE it's even slower, i use mozilla firefox.
today someone pointed me to Mozilla thunderbird to replace outlook express. I have tried it & will now keep using it. i don't know if it is coincidental but my internet now flies between pages, compared to what it did.
worth a look for all those that have slow computers, would be interested in hearing if it has same affect for others....

Spot on DR

Have used Netscape (Mozilla) for many years. Always loads pages faster than IE. Also use Thunderbird and highly recommend it. By not having to have IE or outlook open my computers always seem to perform better.

Steve, do you have any secrets to setting thunderbird up. can receive but cannot send emails??
keeps asking for hub mail password, but cannot find where to put password in. big pond do not do anything with thunderbird, so no help at all..

Opera is acknowledged as the fastest browser on the web. Check out www.opera.com I'ts free and definately worth a look. I've used IE, Netscape, Firefox, Konquerer (Linux) and others..........always come back to Opera. ;)

Ive just installed mozilla after reading this and it is definately faster loading the pages.Thanks guys.
