Hi krause, almost certainly the pictures are to high a resolution for in here if they have come direct from your camera to trying to upload them to the site.
They need to be under 100kb in size and must not have a gap in the name.

If you go to the help section here I am sure you will find detailed instructions here.

Good luck and happy picture posting

Find where you saved the picture too, right click on the picture file, select properties from the list, this will tell you the size of the file in there.

Try this link, this will tell you where to download a free program called infranview and how to use it. Steve Brown, the owner of Ausfish has put up a very detailed post on the subject with easy to follow screen shots and everything.

Have a look, this post we are in right now is not likely to last much longer in the general subject area as the moderators will move it soon to the general help area.

Hi Krause, go to the folder where you have the pictures on your computer and hold your cursor over the picture and it will show you what size it is.

Also go to this page
http://www.ausfish.com.au/cgi-ausfish/yabb2/YaBB.cgi?num=1075561453
and scroll down to my post... Another extremely easy way to resize photos...
and follow the instructions there.
Hope this helps?

Have a read through the Help Section.

The main thread you need to read is this one

you cant use a filename, if someone else has already used it. Rename the file/photo and see if that works.

Yeah like the guys said. Ensure the size is right, (and thats a subject in itself)
Remember on the computer we have 72ppi thus a 72 pixel wide image will be an inch wide. If you upload a 720pixel wide image it will get to 10inches wide etc.
Read through what they've asked you and rename the file while keeping the file extension (thats the thing after the full stop in the file name (which you may or may not see depending on your settings).
Let me know if it still won't work and we'll work you through it.
