Question, Is it worthwhile attending? The government will only listen to people who have the votes to keep them in power. So as i see it it wont be until we all get behind The Fishing Party and give them a big enough stick to weild are we just pissin in the wind?

Please correct me if im wrong but im only going by past history. Have we ever had a decision go our way. I don't know perhaps someone with a bit more expertise on political issues can post up something.

Yes it is worthwile attending.

Wear your Fishing Party shirt, and have a say, kill 2 birds with one stone, so to speak.
You'll let them know your concerns, and, let them know where your vote is going. The presenters were at pains to explain that nothing was decided on closures in MB, so they've gotten that message.
